Are We Collateral?

Ousted member of Congress Bob Inglis of South Carolina mentioned a wacky conspiracy being pushed in tea party circles. Inglis will be finishing his second stint in Congress after serving three terms. He was defeated soundly in the Republican Primary in part because of voting to censure fellow Congressman Joe Wilson after his infamous "You Lie" yell at the President's State of the Union speech, as well as being critical of the tea party movement. He even told one group of supporters to "turn off Glenn Beck". But he tells the story of supporters who informed him that the Federal Reserve uses American citizens to be used as a collateral for US debt. Here's the article in Mother Jones.
